Review On My Time In This Class

This term was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed making all of those paintings and drawings. From my artwork the one I believe I was most successful in was the drawing I made of my house and all that was around it. The reason why this artwork was my best was because it was the most accurate and really look a lot like my house while showing my room in the front. The project that was the most challenging was my painting of the candy. I really enjoyed this, but it was difficult in different spots to make the colors, put in the shadows and add in things to make it look 3D. In the end it turned out well and looks great. Painting candy was one of my favorite parts of this term. In this class I really improved on my painting skills with how to add stuff to make it look more accurate and make different colors so that they all fit just with the actual color of what we were making. Drawing and painting was a great class and I really enjoyed taking it this year. I have become a much better drawer and painter. This was a great glass to take and I will really miss it.

Self Portrait

Here is a self portrait that I drew of my leg with a cleat on my foot. It is supposed to be kicking the massachusetts image that I drew. All over the massachusetts I have different symbols that represent the different sports that I play. The reason I have them all over and in massachusetts is because I live in this state and drive all over it to go to the games I play for each of these events.

News Story Project

In this project we had to draw people of all different shapes and sizes. in my picture I drew a scene from The Garden. It shows the people from all over cheering for the Bruins, how the ice rink looks when everything is on it, the stands, ext. These drawings show to you something we love to do, and in them also putting in people.

Candy Painting

In this painting I took different kinds of candy and connected them in different ways so that they would make a picture. This project taught me a lot about how to make shadows so your candies would look more dimensional. It also showed my different ways to add the textures for different object such as the sugar on the gum drops. One last thing that this project showed me was how to take the three main colors, red, yellow, blue and by mixing them together all the other shades and colors you can make for these different candy.

Place Project

In this drawing I am telling a story about how something is important to me in my life. In this picture I have a drawing of my house. I drew this because having a house and being able to live in a nice place is a very big opportunity to have and many people don't even get to live in a house. If you see my house also has two windows in the front that are much brighter then all of the other windows around the house. These windows stand for my room, and I made them brighter so they stand out and you can see how they are a very important part of my house to me.

Interior Spaces Drawing

In this drawing my class went all over the school and drew/took different pictures of all different places around the campus. After we got the pictures we were suppose to find a way of how you can take them and put them together into a different drawing of a place. In this I have the doors to the athletic center which have right outside them the fields and inside them a bench to sit on from in the library.
